Gasoline in drinking water is delicious. NOT!

Nobody should have gasoline in their drinking water or benzene .  It’s good that there’s a clean up in progress to remove it from the ground after a leak in Jackson Wisconsin.  Aeration water systems with activated carbon filters inline can remove these contaminates.

Here’s a new one. Caffeine pollution.

Caffeine has been found in the seas of the Pacific Northwest.  Interesting that its found in sea water though.  Typically when waste water is treated and discharged, the treatment plants don’t clean out pharmaceuticals nor other chemicals that humans excrete like caffeine.  We’ve known about caffeine in municipal water coming to our homes for a few years now.
